Hello,

My external hard drive mybook connected via USB is recognized in the device manager and in the BIOS but does not appear in the explorer and cannot be mounted.

It seems that there is no partition.

Please help me, I have tried everything.

Thank you

Configuration: Android / Chrome 86.0.4240.185

        right-click on " Disk 1 "
a menu opens, check if you can initialize it

The menu is grayed out and when I launch the utility, I get the message "request failed due to a serious hardware error of the device."

Hello, I have the same problem as Blaise, but for me the message indicates that the device is not ready.
