August VGB100 is not recording

Hello,

I purchased the entire August VGB100 video acquisition set + the software provided with HT VHS to DVD. It reads videos from the VCR very well, but I can't record.
As soon as I click on "record," the image freezes and the software closes.

I am on Windows 10 64

HP laptop

AMZ Ryzen 7 with RadeonVega mobile GFX 2.30 GHZ

Do you have any idea what this might be?

I should mention that these are quite old PAL VHS tapes and the VCR is old too.

    I'm in the same situation as you. I just bought the key, installed it properly, I can get the video and sound, but as soon as I press the Record button, the window closes automatically!!!
    Please help us!!!! Thank you
