Hello, I would like to increase the dedicated video memory or VRAM of my computer. I saw that it could be done through the BIOS by going to
Advanced --> Graphics Settings --> and increasing the VRAM.
However, I do not have access to the Graphics Settings in the BIOS.
I have an Intel UHD Graphics 630 with only 128 MB of dedicated video memory, while it says more than 4000 MB is available (see attachment)
It's annoying because I am running games very slowly.
My PC is an HP Pavilion 595.
Do you have a solution?

Hey, how many GB of RAM do you have in your PC?

And look, it's just this dedicated video memory that is causing me problems for most of my games

    Hello,

You can't do anything except add a real graphics card, but that's not cheap, and 8GB of RAM is really just enough for current games.

    Hi,
there's no point in increasing the VRAM of the IGP if it's for gaming. It's too underperforming; allocating more VRAM won't solve the issue. Moreover, doing so takes away from the main memory, which is then lost for running your programs...

As for modifying it properly, either it can be done in the UEFI if possible (they're all different... you have to explore it yourself), or it can't be done at all.

Thank you for your responses, but why is it written "available graphic memory: 4000" if it is available I cannot use it?

It's shared memory, it comes from the 8GB of RAM in your processor, and as AluMinioume said, it won't solve the problem, on the contrary, it will make it heavier, because the UHD630 and this "shared memory" are too slow for gaming.
