Hello,
I have a last-generation Orange Ultra HD decoder.
I bought a TV headset with a jack output, but unfortunately, the TV doesn't have a jack input, just red and white. So I bought a jack to RCA adapter, but nothing happens.
I would like to plug the headset directly into the decoder, which only has an SPDIF output.
My question is the following: what should I buy to be able to connect my jack cable to this SPDIF input?
Thank you in advance, have a nice day.

Hello,
The jack socket on a headset is an input, not an output...
On televisions, RCA sockets (except in rare cases) are inputs...
The SPDIF socket on the Orange decoder is a digital coaxial socket
The headset is presumably analog.
Therefore, you will need a digital coaxial IN to analog 3.5mm jack or RCA OUT converter.
We still need to know if this headset has a volume control or not?
Please provide us with the references (brand and model) of the headset and also of the television

Very difficult to catch a black cat in a dark room.
Especially when it's not there...

The TV is a LG 32LS3400 and the headset is a Sony MDR RF811RK
Have a good day
As for the television, there is no audio output... ! ?
So you need a converter like this one for example:
https://www.amazon.fr/Aluminium-Techole-Analogique-Convertisseur-Num%C3%A9rique/dp/B07MB8VCWQ
the coaxial cable is included with the converter.
A conversation in the Orange decoder menu is certainly needed to activate the S/PDIF coaxial output.
