Hello,
My D-Link DNS-320L NAS server seems to have failed: I can no longer connect it to the network.
The hard drives are running and the lights are blue. I believe they are in RAID1.
Can I reinstall the hard drives in another NAS server and thus recover the data that is present?
Or is there a way to connect the hard drives to a computer to copy them? (The last backup is over a month old and is therefore not up-to-date)
Note: I am a winemaker, not a computer expert, so I apologize if my questions seem absurd.
Best regards,
Loïc

Hello,
Is your NAS enclosure this one... https://eu.dlink.com/fr/fr/products/dns-320l-sharecenter-2-bay-cloud-storage-enclosure ?
At the bottom of the D-Link website, there is support to consult.

Hello Panth33ra,
Thank you for your reply, but I checked the D-Link website and I can't find the answer in the FAQ. -
Hello,
The disks will not be readable on Windows.
And I assume that the disks can only be recovered using a D-Link enclosure, the same as the original, or another of the same brand with the same software/hardware level, or following a procedure provided by the manufacturer.

See this discussion on the same issue https://www.forum-nas.fr/viewtopic.php?t=9588
The disk might be readable on a Linux machine, or on a Windows machine with Linux disk reading software (Linux Reader, )

Thank you for your support.
I will try to find someone who knows how to read a disk under Linux to recover the data.
Best regards to you all,
