Error 100016 Epson Scan

Hello,
my Epson XP-4100 printer displays the message "Err Scanner. An error occurred while scanning" and a code 100016.
I turned the printer off and on again, waited 10 minutes after unplugging it, restarted the computer... still the same message.
Do you have a solution? Thank you in advance.

      You need to contact Epson support https://www.epson.fr/fr_FR/support/sc/epson-workforce-pro-wf-c5710dwf/s/s1622?selected-tab=&selected-os=macOS+12+%28Monterey%29

      Here is their response:

      In this case, the printer requires maintenance from one of our authorized repairers; error 100016 will be covered even if the printer is out of warranty.

      Epson takes care of everything :)).

        Hello,

        same problem but the support won't cover the repair because it's out of warranty, it's up to us to get a quote from Maintronic and drop off the machine (1.5 hours away from my place)....

        I have error 100016 and Epson told me that the repairs are my responsibility. I insisted, but they didn't want to hear anything about it.
        It has only been a few months since it's no longer under warranty.

        Epson does not cover anything.
