Saba TV Problem
Hello,
I own a Saba television that I retrieved from my parents in the hope of trying to fix it before permanently getting rid of it.
They no longer use it because it starts and then shuts down immediately, without stopping, with a message saying "initialization in progress."
I came across posts where the solution was to update the firmware by inserting a USB stick with a bin file, etc.
However, I tried that and it didn't solve the problem (surprise, I always have bad luck).
I followed the process: unplugged the TV, plugged in the USB stick, plugged in the TV, and then pressed the power button to start it. But it keeps doing the same thing, turning on and off repeatedly with the same message continuously.
I made sure to format my USB sticks to fat32 (I tested with 2 different sticks, and I am currently formatting a 3rd one).
I tested it both with and without the antenna cable.
I don't understand why the process doesn't work for me? Did I maybe skip a step?
Could you please help me? It's a relatively new TV and I would be frustrated to have to throw it away for such a small issue.
Is it a case of planned obsolescence? Because it certainly looks like it, the issue started right after the end of the 2-year warranty.
I imagine that taking it to a repair shop won't be cheap for a TV that probably cost around 90/100€.
Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.
