Word mail merge with repeating IMAGE

Hello,
I’m desperately trying to do a mail merge with images in Word using an Excel file.
I followed the procedures found on the web (for example here: https://faqword.com/index.php/word/mise-en-forme/227-comment-inserer-une-image-dans-une-planche-detiquettes-identiques) and I’ve also combed through all the forums...
My problem is that the image from my first Excel row repeats over and over, when there should be a new image for each entry, while the other fields correctly vary across the generated pages (I noted that I should press Ctrl+F9 for the preview, but nothing helps, even when launching the “Finish & Merge” tab the same image reappears in the generated directory).
I used double \\ for my file paths, no spaces or accents anywhere...
I don’t know where to look anymore.

On one hand you talk about mail merge.
Then you provide the link that talks about making identical label sheets.
We agree that one is the opposite of the other?...
And finally, you mention pressing ctrl F9 for the preview... And I doubt I wrote that...

Unfortunately I haven't yet found the exact tutorial on the internet for creating a directory that takes into account all the parameters I'm looking for. My problem is not with the F9 key which is used to refresh the fields but with the generation of the data merge...
