Can a PC monitor work without a tower?

Hello, I'm going to buy a Predator PC monitor, but I don't know if it will work until I get the tower, as I want to invest in a tower later.

Well no, the screen is not a computer, it's a peripheral... It's the computer that does everything... So yes, if it's to browse the web, get yourself a cheap little tower...

Well, first of all, to run a screen like that, it's even 1500 / 2000 € for the tower if you think about it...

Why buy a screen at that price when a Full HD 24" for 100 € does the job?

Good evening,

A screen is simple; it displays what you connect to it from behind... in the format and definitions specified in the characteristics of that screen...

You must at least know the brand and model of that screen... The interface ports used for that screen...

But to watch TV, you need to connect a TV receiver... otherwise, it won't work, same goes for the PS4 or others... The screen does not create the image it displays.

Well, actually it's this Acer Predator XB273GPbmiiprzx gaming monitor, but I just want to use it for browsing the internet or things like that, not for gaming. I know that for gaming, you need a tower, but can I use it without gaming or not?

A screen alone cannot connect you to the internet... you need a computer in front of it that is connected...

It can't even do addition.
