Wireless subwoofer and furniture

Hello,
Currently, I am using a wired Bose Cinemate 2.1 sound system with my TV.
As part of a move, I am considering switching to a wireless 5.1 system, mainly for the wireless aspect, especially since my large subwoofer will be difficult to fit next to the TV unit in my future configuration.
I would like to know if there are any contraindications or, on the contrary, best practices for camouflaging a remote subwoofer without compromising sound and signal quality?
I was thinking of placing the subwoofer next to the couch (facing the TV) in a corner of the wall, with some kind of open-top side table above it. Would it be acceptable if I orient the subwoofer backward and cover it with a piece of furniture that remains open at least at the back? Or if I place the subwoofer under a piece of furniture that isn’t entirely closed on all sides (for example, with wooden or metal slats)?
Thank you for your advice and insights.

Hello,
wireless audio does not exist; you will always need a power cable, for example.
You can place the subwoofer wherever you want, as long as it's finely adjusted; just adjust the volume depending on where it is.
As for the rest, personally, I would run the cables right in the center of the room; you can dig into the floor, make a small support, and place a rug over it; there are plenty of possibilities...
But wired connections will always be much safer than wireless ones, not to mention the waves and the fact that everything needs to be powered separately, etc...

And at no point do you answer the question (as usual, I think) and as for the reliability of wireless, that's been proven today...
@Ben_T: the location of the subwoofer matters little; however, it must be adjustable so that it serves its purpose. You'll need to test its orientation, but you shouldn't direct the sound against an obstacle.
Oh really?!
"You can put the subwoofer wherever you want, as long as it's finely tuned; just adjust the volume according to its location."
When you have a house, you can afford quite a few things; after all, everyone makes their own choices...
You will still need to power this subwoofer with an electrical cable, having either a nearby wall socket or running a cable there as well.
Anyway, most subwoofers are active, so they need an electrical cable.
^_^
^Do you find it relevant to break up a floor for a simple wire? When the question is "where can I put my subwoofer?" and on top of that he says ; with a bit of luck, he'll have a socket on that wall (if by any chance he has electricity to run his TV ^^)
And at no point does he say he's going to get Bose again, even though the brand is really good...
