Diagnostic Strategy Service

Question

Hello,

I have a laptop running Windows 10.
I've noticed for a few days that two programs are hogging the CPU:
- Service Host: Diagnostic Strategy Service
- Service Host: Sysmain.
Can I disable one or even both of them, or will that make the system unstable?
In the Task Manager, I see that it goes from 3% to 25% in two seconds, then back to 3%, and then again to 20-25% on the CPU; it's actually going up and down non-stop....
And what's triggering this are the two programs mentioned above.
Any solution?

To check your computer for any infections and get a general status of the system:

Follow the FRST tutorial by clicking on this blue link. ( take the time to read carefully - everything is well explained ).

Download and run the FRST scan,
Wait for the scan to finish, a message will indicate that the analysis is complete.

Three FRST reports will be generated:

FRST.txt
Shortcut.
Additionnal.txt

Send these 3 reports to the site https://pjjoint.malekal.com/ and in return provide the 3 pjjoint links that lead to the reports here in a new response so that we can review them.

Should I uninstall MBAM then?
Yet I have been using them together for years and it hasn't caused me any issues until now, but if needed, I'll get rid of it, no problem.
In the meantime, the problem persists; I’m reading solutions here and there, but none are conclusive.

Nothing extraordinary, but KIS + Malwarebytes might be too much.

1) Go to the Control Panel
then Programs and Features.
Uninstall:
CCleaner
CyberLink
NTI Backup
Malwarebytes

P.S.: CCleaner isn't really useful, even though it's recommended everywhere.
If you want to keep it, disable CCleaner's monitoring, as it starts up with Windows and slows it down with its constant cleanings. See: https://www.malekal.com/supprimer-ccleaner-demarrage-windows/
Also, remember to disable data sending in CCleaner's options. They send information to Avast! servers.

2) Disable/Remove from startup:

Install "Real Temp" or "Coretemp" to Monitor the temperature of your computer.
Check how high the temperature of your computer rises during use. It should not exceed 60 degrees Celsius. If possible, attach a screenshot of the software to the message.

See if this reduces the CPU usage.

Well, I spent two days following all sorts of tutorials, uninstalling this or that program or application, and still the same problem.
So for now, I’m giving up.
I’m just attaching two screenshots to highlight the issue I have:

It's done, I finally solved the problem.
So I followed this discussion thread which gave me a clue:

In the task manager, I just had to go to "Services", then search for "DSP", right-click on it and stop the program.
I waited a bit, restarted it and now it doesn't rev up anymore, if I may say so.
So for now the problem is solved and it seems to hold.
I also took the opportunity to get rid of Malwarebytes.
In any case, I thank you for the solutions you provided, they were very helpful as it allowed me to clean up my computer.
