Hello,
I have a Sony Bravia TV (2011 model kdl 40bx420), so it’s a bit old and it doesn't work with the internet.
I would like to place it in a room where there is no TV socket but just a working RJ45 socket.
I tried to connect it with a coaxial/RJ45 cable, but the TV doesn't detect any channels...
Do I have to buy a TNT box or go through a TV box from my Internet provider?
Thanks in advance!

Hello
To transmit a television "signal" via coaxial, you cannot use the RJ45 circuit because the cables used (120 Ω / 120 ohms) are not compatible with a coaxial signal (52–64 Ω / 50 ohms).
Coaxial Cable
Network Cable for RJ45
