Google Chrome crashes my PC (blue screen)

Hello everyone,

For a few days now, whenever I launch GOOGLE CHROME, the PC crashes and a blue screen appears saying "your computer has encountered a problem and needs to restart". I should note that this only happens when launching GOOGLE CHROME; I can use my PC normally otherwise (Internet Explorer works). I’ve already tried the commands in the command prompt and ran the command bcdedit /set {default} bootmenupolicy legacy but nothing helps...
Could someone please help me troubleshoot?
Thank you :)

    Hi,

Do not touch the startup options with bcdedit.
You’re going to mess things up.

    disable 3D/graphics acceleration in Chrome

    and

Start with a driver update with DriversCloud :
=> tutorial on how to update drivers with DriversCloud

    then:

    2) To check your computer, for potential infections and to get an overall view of the system:

Follow the FRST tutorial by clicking on this blue link. (take the time to read carefully - everything is well explained ).

Download and run the FRST scan,
Wait for the scan to finish, a message will indicate that the analysis is complete.

Three FRST reports will be generated:
    • FRST.txt
    • Shortcut.
    • Additionnal.txt

Send these 3 reports to the site https://pjjoint.malekal.com/ and in return provide the 3 pjjoint links that lead to the reports here in a new reply so we can review them.

(The blue links lead to step-by-step tutorials, click them for more precise instructions).
