Hello, the technical service of LDLC being incompetent to resolve this issue, I turn to you after having practically tried everything.

I have a missing driver, in the device manager remains "simplified PCI communication controller" and at startup of Windows a warning message tells me that the "MEI" stack is missing.

I have an i7-10700K CPU on an Asus Strix Z490 F motherboard, Win10 60bits.

Here is the identification number of the issue:

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_06E0&SUBSYS_86941043&REV_00
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_06E0&SUBSYS_86941043
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_06E0&CC_078000
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_06E0&CC_0780

I have spent a lot of time on other topics of the same type but none of the proposed solutions have worked.

I thank you immensely in advance for your help.

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 83.0.4103.61

    Hello,

    Download and install --> 7Zip 64 bit

    Download this driver --> MEI

    Right-click on the driver --> Intel_MEI_V1952.14.0.1470_WIN10_64-bit.zip
    Select --> 7Zip
    Choose --> extract to "Intel_MEI_V1952.14.0.1470_WIN10_64-bit\"

    Go to Device Manager
    Right-click on the device
    Update driver
    Browse my computer ......
    Choose from a list of drivers...
    Have Disk
    Browse
    Go to the extracted driver folder --> Intel_MEI_V1952.14.0.1470_WIN10_64-bit
    Folder --> WindowsDriverPackages
    Folder --> MEI
    Folder --> win10
    Select the file --> heci.inf and OK.
    Restart.
