Change of figure and table numbers during conversion

Hello,

I hope you are all doing well! I encountered a problem when converting my Word report to PDF. I noticed that the numbers of figures and tables change. For example: in Word it is noted Table 1.4, during the conversion it becomes Table 0.4. The same thing happens for the figures: from figure 3.6 for example in Word to figure 0.6 after conversion. I used my Word to convert to PDF (save as PDF format). Thank you in advance for your response!

    Hello,

    Is the result the same when creating a PDF print instead of saving it?
    (menu Print and choose a PDF printer instead of the classic paper printer).

      Hello, yes it's the same thing. I also tried using the "insert caption" function that exists under REFERENCES, then choose the numbering for tables (or images) but I couldn't find the right style.

        Actually, it's more of a problem with Word than with PDFs.
