To play, alone or with two players, you need to enter the positions of the five ships.
First, you need to set the front and back positions of each ship:
for example, the aircraft carrier, which is five squares long, goes from A1 to A5, so you only need to register the start and the end. And so on for the other four.
Once the five ships are registered, you must press validate. Only the computer will launch against itself; if playing with two players, both must validate at the same time. That's it.

Place your ships one by one, for example:

The large one has 5 holes: J5 and J9 and press validate.
Place all your ships in the same way.
When your ships are all placed, press "play".
Do the same for the opposing player.
There’s only the small ship with 1 hole that I don’t remember how to do, sorry.

To play against the computer, simply press the War key after entering your ship positions.
