black screen at startup that appears and disappears instantly

Question

Hello everyone, as I was royally helped here not so long ago, I don't hesitate to make another request.
I have a small inconvenience that seems harmless but I find it abnormal. When I turn on my PC (recent purchase and running W10), a black window appears and disappears immediately at startup; it sometimes happens once or twice again in the first few minutes. It's very quick, so it's impossible to see the contents of the window. I don't think it's a virus or anything, but I would like to resolve this. Is there anyone who can help me? Thank you.

First track, the event observer. Look for error or critical events. Let me know if you can't do it.

OK. Right click on the Windows icon. Click on "Event Viewer".
Double click on "Windows Logs". In the four logs "Applications", "Security", "Installation", and "System", do the following:
Create a custom view, check "Critical" and "Error". Left click on the new view and search for an event on the date of the problem (black window). If possible, a screenshot of the event on the corresponding date for each new view.

OK, I'm not used to all this at all, sorry: in the "Create a new custom view" window, when I check "error" and "critical", I confirm by "ok", then a new window opens, I have to name it and confirm also by ok?

I did the manipulation by naming the new views, so without waiting for your feedback, I have nothing for Security and installation. For System and Application, I have errors but none at the time of PC startup...

I only have one criticism of the system, apparently due to an improper shutdown of the PC, and that dates back to mid-March... otherwise, apart from a few references to Antidote and Word, nothing to report. And nothing at startup of the PC, apparently, especially nothing dated today even though the window appeared this morning... Could it be Windows updates? I read this quickly on another forum but no explanation was given...

Perform a virus/malware scan with the free version of Malwarebytes https://fr.malwarebytes.com/  I don't really believe it, but I don't have any other diagnostics before recovering W10.

OK, so should I delete the entries to create custom views?
No issues with Malwarebytes, only splendid_tool.exe which is in the data/asus folder... so it's obviously not a threat.
When you talk about Windows recovery, what does that mean?

You can delete the four created views. Before moving on to recovery (loss of applications), we can try a restore.  Type "RSTRUI" in Cortana. Make sure to check "show more restore points" twice.

I really can’t get into losing an app right now while I’m working from home. If that’s what you recommend, I’ll do it later, but can you tell me how that could solve my problem? I hardly have any apps apart from Word and Antidote that could cause issues. I have no other choice but to keep them for now. As for a restore, I haven’t downloaded anything new or questionable? Do you think it could be my Word or my Antidote, or possibly Windows updates? Have a good evening and thanks for the follow-up.

ok. In fact, I had an issue a while ago due to my "bad" Word and I was efficiently helped here. Since then, I haven't touched anything. This morning I noted the time when the window appeared. And I have warnings regarding a Windows Defender update. I will try to stop the automatic updates to see if the window persists. I'm thinking that could be it...
Thanks for your valuable help anyway, now I know that there is an Event Viewer, which will really help me.
