Double-sided printing not possible on Canon TS 5050 printer

Solved

Hello,

I have a recent MacBook Air and a Canon TS 5050 printer.
I am using macOS Catalina 10.15.4.
I cannot print double-sided; the function is greyed out, indicated as disabled, in the printer properties.
I don't know how to activate it.
Could someone help me?
Thank you in advance.
Renaud

    Hello,

Is your driver up to date for Catalina?
If so, from the Apple menu/System Preferences/Printers & Scanners, on the left column, select your printer, click the minus sign (-) at the bottom, confirm, then click the plus sign (+) and select your printer to reinstall it and test it.
In its specifications, it states that double-sided printing is done manually.

When it's urgent, it's already too late (Talleyrand)
When everything has failed, read the manual ;)

    Hello,
In the printer specifications under "Print Specifications," Canon states:
    Manual duplex printing
    See https://www.canon.fr/printers/pixma-ts5050-series/specifications/
This implies that you have to manually turn the printed page...

Thank you, it's worse than I thought; next printer, I'll check the Mac compatibility. Lol
It's very kind of you to have helped me.
