Plug the antenna into the adapter,
Don't forget to buy an HDMI cable to actually connect it to the TV
Turn on the adapter
Switch the TV to the corresponding HDMI input
The adapter's home menu appears on the screen, follow the instructions to perform an automatic channel search.
And there you go...

Indeed, this socket seems quite damaged...;-(
Try to fix it because a coaxial plug shouldn't fit anymore
Dismantle the male plug or cut the cable completely
Insert the copper core into the central hole of the TV socket and place the braid under the crown of the TV socket,

Otherwise, to save it, buy an HD TNT adapter (available everywhere starting from €20), connect the antenna to it, and plug it into the TV via HDMI, which you'll need to switch to the corresponding input
