No detection of my VCR

Hello
I'm trying to get a Cyberlink Power 9 purchased at Lidl a few years ago, which I've never used, to work. After installing the CD and connecting the camcorder, I open the software, press capture, and then nothing happens; a window tells me: Cyberlink does not support the content of this disk folder.
I think it is not detecting the camcorder via the USB port.
Can you help me?

    Hello,
    I am following up on my request: I want to record VHS tapes onto my PC from my SONY VCR. For this, I bought the Sylver Crest device from Lidl, which contains the various connection elements as well as the Cyberlink Power 9 installation disc. The software installation went smoothly. However, when I start the tape, nothing appears in the program window. This is when I think that something in my PC is not detecting this USB connection. Why?

    When you connect a device other than your VCR via USB to your PC, is it recognized?

    There is a difference between the software not supporting the file and the device not being recognized by the PC!
    It may be a question of the file format of the camcorder that the software does not recognize!

    Hello, if you do not provide me with the type of camcorder, there are 2 kinds of camcorders: one in analog that must correspond with the cam for content transfer
    and the other one that does not use the import phase of the editing software. If you do not give me the type of camcorder, I cannot proceed, so which one does not need the importation of the editing software

    First of all, thank you for considering my request. Then I made a mistake by saying that my camcorder was not recognized. In fact, it is a Sony video cassette recorder, model SLV-SE450B.

    Camcorder, VCR now, it's indeed not the same equipment!
    Perhaps you should explain what you are really trying to do, we could probably attempt to respond more precisely!
    Could you send an image of your device from Lidl, maybe, or the exact references to be found on a label attached to it?
