Preview not available in OpenOfficeCalc

Hello,
Recently, the "Preview" function is not working in Open Office Calc. I followed the steps described by Mickouk5354, but it doesn’t solve my problem. Preview gives me a gray page.
Note that in my old documents under "View," I have the "Print Layout" option, but if I want to create a new document, I no longer have this option, which is replaced by "Normal." Could this be where the problem lies? I want to clarify that printing is impossible. To get a preview and still print, I resorted to using "Export as PDF," but that’s not a real solution.
Thank you in advance to those who will think about it.

I’m not asking my questions to bother you, but because I’m troubled...

To create a blank grid, you must of course divide the cells of the sheet.
Once done, the preview works.

Why hack MS Office when there is a free solution?
Use OpenOffice.

From experience, I can tell you that it doesn't work; I've tried it, and I just checked it before responding to you. Best regards.

Could you have checked the option: "Ignore empty pages for printing"?
In this case, it is logical that nothing is displayed since there is nothing to print.

Indeed, you are right. However, it doesn't seem logical to me; it's not a blank page since there is indeed a grid to print, even if that grid is empty. In any case, I thank you for looking into this issue, and our discussion will surely be helpful to other users of this forum. Best regards.

Hello
try purging the profile
press the WINDOWS key (a flag) and R (simultaneously).
-Then, type %appdata%
-Look for the OpenOffice or LibreOffice folder
-Rename it to OldOpenOffice or OldLibreOffice

Thank you very much for your response, but I am using a Mac.
I will answer my own question, as it may be useful for some naive users like me. Indeed, the answer is very simple: if no box is filled with characters, numbers, or formulas, the preview is not possible (this is not specified in the OpenOffice help). I wanted to create a blank grid to print, and I had never encountered this problem because I had never created a blank grid! Simply put. A little tip: to still have my blank grid, I had to put a word in one box, and to ensure that this word would not be printed, I wrote it in white font. QED.
