Printing to PRN file

Hello everyone,

I have a big problem since yesterday: when I try to print from any software (Excel, Adobe...), a "Save As" dialog box opens and asks me to save my document as a prn file...

Before posting on the forum, I checked other discussions that dealt with the same issue but couldn't find a solution for my case.

I have checked the print settings, noticed that the "Print to file" option is unchecked, but nothing works.

Does anyone have a solution?

    Another place where you might have a print option in a file is in the driver of the printer being used...

    Open the "Devices and Printers" window and right-click on the printer used.

    Then on the "Printer Properties" option, check in the "Port" tab to see if "File - Print to file" is checked.
