Hello,
I have a Canon MG2950 printer; with Windows 10 and Google Chrome, I cannot print a file without saving it first.
Thank you for your response

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 51.0.2704.103

Hello Bob,

when you open the "Print" dialog box, the destination is probably set to "Save" or "Print to PDF" or something like that. Change this destination by selecting "Print" and your printer.

You can also check in the Control Panel that your printer is set as "default."

Hello C-Claire,
Thank you for your reply, but I haven't been able to solve the problem: actually, my printer is correctly set as default, but when I'm using Google Chrome, for example, when I want to print an email message, I click on the printer icon and a window appears with "Save," and I can't print; it's worth noting that this problem doesn't occur when I read my messages with Internet Explorer.
Thank you for everything.

Bob,

in the window that appears, do you not have a [Modify] button?
If so, click on it and choose "Print."

Edit: rereading your initial message, you talk about a "file" and you are asking your question here, in the PDF forum. In your previous message, you talk about email. In short, you do not mention the PDF. Why didn’t you ask your question on the Google Chrome or Gmail forum?

Hello again C-Claire,
I just reviewed the problem, I was able to get the edit button by right-clicking on print, everything went smoothly and I was able to print; thank you for the good advice and have a great afternoon.

Thank you immensely. The destination was set to print to PDF. I chose my printer and it was successful.
