WPS Activation

Question

Hello,

I bought a wifi repeater, I carefully read how to configure it and then activate it, but it's still not working.
I changed the security system from WEP to WPA2-PSK/AES as recommended to enable the WPS on the Freebox Revolution.
Now I'm on myfreebox.freebox.fr where I'm trying to activate the WPS, but it's lagging and it shows an error... can you help me? It's complicated because the fiber is still not connected and we are operating on ADSL with thick concrete walls and the wifi doesn't reach the bedrooms..

Hi,
the Wi-Fi radio signal won't improve with fiber.
After that, we don't know what your repeater is, at least we don't know the model, but fortunately there's a way to connect them to the box without WPS, you just need to know its WPA key.
For that, you need to connect to the repeater's interface, find the box's Wi-Fi network, and enter the key.

Unfortunately, I don't have a manual, and I don't know which interface to connect to... However, I see the signal with its name in the list of Wi-Fi networks found on my computer and Android, but when I click on it, there's no internet connection.

I just unchecked "hide SSID" and now the WPS search works, but after 2 minutes it says "Failed, no WPS compatible device found for freebox"
I have the Freebox Revolution R2... I don't understand anything!! Help!!
