How to access GAME mode on my Thomson television?

Good evening everyone,
I recently bought a Nintendo Switch, but when I connect it to my TV, a delay of about 150ms makes the experience quite unpleasant. I've done some research on this issue, and it turns out that it is a rather common problem.
I read some articles about a game mode that could be activated on TVs, but after going through the options on mine, I couldn't find it.
I looked into it and updating the TV's settings is supposed to add this mode. I should mention that the TV I use is the family TV, and I believe that no system update has been performed in at least 5 years.
Model of the TV in question: 50FU6663 Thomson.
The problem: when I go to the website mythomsons.com and enter the model of my TV in the support section -> manuals and downloads, I can't find an available update file, only manuals.
When I go into the options of my TV and try the "Software update," I get an error message: The disk is not ready.
So, I would like to know if the TV is simply too old to benefit from this "game" mode, and if so, do you have any solutions to fix the problem I'm experiencing?
I want to emphasize that I've tried different HDMI cables, and I've also attempted to remove all image processing options in the IMAGE settings of the TV.
