How to share an app between multiple accounts on MacBook 2019?

Question

Good evening, Everything is in the title, but to be more precise, I'm new to Mac OS, and I have installed various software/applications on my Administrator account. Now I've just created a User account intended for everyday use, and I'm struggling to access these software/applications installed on my Administrator account that do not appear on my User account. What is the solution to share them? Do I have to install them a second time? (My computer is a MacBook Pro 2019)  Thank you in advance for any help that will be more than welcome!

The software installed "on your Administrator account" is located in the folder /Users/[administrator]/Applications. To make it usable from other accounts, it needs to be in /Applications (the one at the root of the startup disk):  For most applications, simply moving them to this folder will be sufficient. However, it is possible that a few applications may need to be reinstalled (?)   -- Hello at home! Bernard

Thank you, so I just saw the existence of the \Users\Shared folder However, my installed applications are indeed in \Applications (root) and I don't have an equivalent subfolder in my admin folder (my OS version is Catalina 10.15.2) I'll test all of that and I will provide feedback as soon as it works. Thanks again to you, your screenshot helped me a lot!

Ok it works, after a bit of trial and error, the apps installed on the administrator account in root\Applications also appear in my user account, without having to create a folder for each account. So it also allowed me to understand how to share files between accounts using \Users\Shared, where you can also create subfolders. With this good news, I'll be able to start working seriously on my Mac. Thanks again to you!

Thank you for the info, it's true that after many years of using Windows, you come away with some scars :p As for me, I was still on XP, and seeing my wife struggle with Windows 10, I chose to switch to Mac, and honestly, I don't regret it, it's a whole different world ;)
