Hello,
I'm having an issue with USB tethering using my iPhone.
When I plug my iPhone 6 into my desktop computer, it does indeed recognize my iPhone. However, when I look in the network settings, I can't find my iPhone. Therefore, I can't browse the internet.
My iOS is up to date and so is my PC. Tethering and cellular data are enabled.
When I use USB tethering with an Android device, I have no problems. I conclude that the issue comes from my iPhone, especially since tethering doesn't work with my other computer either.
My sister's iPhone also doesn't work with USB tethering.

I look forward to your replies, especially since it's difficult not to have internet access on my computer during this lockdown.

Thank you for your future responses.

P.S.: I prefer tethering because my Wi-Fi is really unreliable.

Hello, since it doesn't work with any of your iPhones, I think the problem comes from the USB cable. It may not work if this cable is not Apple genuine. There is also another solution, which is sharing via Bluetooth if your PC is compatible. Have you tested this solution?
