Printing on my HP is misaligned and has margins.

Hello,

I just bought a new HP 2600 series printer (I’m on W Vista).

My prints are of poor quality: the printer adds margins (even though the margin option is disabled in the print preferences).

To be specific, when I open a document in PDF or Word, it looks perfect on the screen and during the print preparation.
However, when printing, the text or image is misaligned on the sheet (and therefore cut off).

I didn’t have this problem with my previous printer.

I’ve explored the print preferences and found nothing.

Any suggestions?

Configuration: Windows / Firefox 52.0

Ouch, unfortunately, I see on the forums that many people printing on HP are having the same problem: margins imposed by the printer, no matter what software.

And these margins are not adjustable. It's not possible to print in full screen. Documents need to be adapted according to the margins imposed by HP... Incredible!!!!

I didn’t have this problem with my Epson printer.

A shame for HP. If I had known, I wouldn't have gone for this scam... uh! Sorry... this brand...

Hello. Personally, I have a misalignment issue. I have a white margin at the bottom, so what should be at the top is not visible.
