Hello!
I wanted to know if I can install the i5 2400 or 2500 on my motherboard (hewlett-packard 0b40h)
Because I tried with a Core 2 Quad Q6600 and that’s when I saw that the processor didn’t fit in the motherboard
That’s when I understood that I couldn’t use just any processor on my board...
So here I am asking if the i5 2400 or 2500 will fit in my motherboard
Thank you in advance, friends :D
Ps: My config...
PC: Hp Z200
Motherboard: hewlett-packard 0b40h
Graphics card: gtx 1050ti
Processor: i5 660 (yes, the processor is weak and does not support my graphics card, so I get very low fps)
Ram: 6Gb
Hard drive: #1: 1Tb #2: 250Gb for Windows ;)
That’s it!! :)

Hello,
here is the list of compatible processors, any upgrade won't bring you much improvement, maybe just the second line of the i5s, but a BIOS update may be necessary and I would need your serial number to check, and even then it’s not certain:

regarding the graphics card just to be sure:
is it properly connected in the pcie x16 2.0 slot?
is your monitor connected to the graphics card and not to the motherboard?
is your power supply adequate for the graphics card? (350-400W minimum)
have you properly installed the graphics card drivers?
