Hello
Black screen on my Doro 8040, probably a charged battery
Can you help me?
On the internet, a representative from Fnac said that I can remove the battery
Others say the battery is non-removable.
What should I do? It’s 2 years old and out of warranty
Best regards

Here is the link to download your phone's manual, where you will find all the instructions:

The 'www' is also meant for communicating, sharing, and exchanging, right? Thank you for having the courtesy to respond to those who are trying to help you :)

Hello,
Does holding down the "Power" button not turn on the screen?

No. Red light when it is on the charging dock. But it is impossible to see if the phone is charging. So I don't know if it's the screen that has a problem or if it's the non-removable battery.
Thank you

Redémarrage du téléphone
A restart may be necessary in case of a persistent problem that cannot be solved or if your phone freezes and does not respond anymore.
This device has a built-in battery, therefore, it is not possible to restart it by removing the battery.
•If you need to restart your phone, press and hold the Power and Volume Up buttons simultaneously for more than eight seconds to restart it.
After the restart, the phone will automatically relaunch.
See if this can make things move forward

Thank you, but I've already tried and nothing works.
I will try to call a Doro advisor tomorrow.
Best regards.
