I can no longer connect 2, 3, or 4 PS4 controllers after having connected them to an Android smartphone and a PC.

Yo, same here, I synced my two PS4 controllers to my Android and now it's a disaster on my PS4: disconnecting controllers, sticks moving on their own, latency with the buttons.
I’ve tried every tutorial online: resetting the controller with the console off using the button at the back accessed with a toothpick, resyncing the controller via USB cable to the console.
Nothing works, it's bugging... It has to be related to my syncs on Android because I did it yesterday, and it hasn't worked since on my PS4...

I have the answer; I had exactly the same problem, and I found out how to solve it. So first of all, when I plugged my controller into my PS4, it charged, but when I turned on my controller, it wouldn't connect, still being plugged into the Play. In fact, I simply used an official PS4 charger that I had received with a PS VR, and it worked. In conclusion, you need a recent charger or a special PS4 there you go

Hello friends, I had the same problem as you, and after trying everything for 30 minutes, I finally found the solution.

What happens when you connect your controller to your smartphone is that the controller registers this device by default, so even in airplane mode, when you try to turn on your controller, you'll receive a Bluetooth notification on your phone.

What you need to do is turn off the phone in question and have two PS4 controllers available.

Go to PS4 settings, devices, Bluetooth devices, press the PS+Share button until the controller starts flashing, and connect the problematic controller with a USB cable while it keeps flashing white. If it doesn't work right away, press again with the cable connected.

Then you will see a new DualShock appear, your controller will no longer have a white light but a red light, and you won’t be able to use it right away.

This is where you take your second controller, press on the new DualShock that just appeared on the screen, and register the device, and magically it switches to the home screen with the first controller.
