The problem may not have been the charging connector; or not only that..??
It could also be the battery itself.... The charger... The USB charging cable... The battery control circuit (in the tablet) these are just a few possible reasons and there could be others, including overconsumption related to the electronics on the board or background tasks running continuously... Let's also say that games are very power-hungry...
We should at least know the model of this tablet, its age, its battery and its age... The number of hours of gaming per day... that’s the minimum... to get an opinion.. -
