Hello,

I just had the charging connector of the tablet changed. Now it often turns off, especially during games. Is it related?
What should I do?

Thank you for your help

    Hello,

The problem may not have been the charging connector; or not only that..??

It could also be the battery itself.... The charger... The USB charging cable... The battery control circuit (in the tablet) these are just a few possible reasons and there could be others, including overconsumption related to the electronics on the board or background tasks running continuously... Let's also say that games are very power-hungry...

We should at least know the model of this tablet, its age, its battery and its age... The number of hours of gaming per day... that’s the minimum... to get an opinion..

The tablet is the first Xperia Z model and is from May 2013.

OK, its age is enough for the battery to have little autonomy left... But you don't answer the other questions...

The charger... The USB charging cable... The battery control circuit (in the tablet) are all possible reasons, and there may be others, including excessive consumption related to the electronic components or background tasks running constantly... Let's also say that games are very power-hungry...

It is still possible that a total reset (factory settings) could fix things, including the battery charge...

For your information, an Xpéria battery can be changed...
