Setting up IPTV on VLC

Hello, I have a best-iptv-f.com subscription. It works without any issues on my Samsung smartphone. However, I wanted to set it up on my laptop and I'm struggling. According to support, I received an MP3 file (that's correct) and I need to open it on VLC, and that's where I'm stuck. I've already tried several alternatives and I can't get it to work. Can someone please help me?

In any case, IPTV works when it wants to, and on top of that, it's illegal; it's just piracy even if you pay for a subscription.
