How to connect my Nintendo Switch to a PC monitor

Hello,
I got a PC monitor to play on my Switch because my parents are fed up with me hogging the TV. So, I plugged the monitor into the power, connected the VGA to HDMI adapter to the monitor and the dock for my Switch, and plugged this dock into the power. I turned on the monitor, but nothing happens; the screen says "no signal." Please help me.

    Yo, did you get a female jack socket with the adapter you bought? If so, you need to connect a male-to-male jack cable from your Switch to your socket.

        Hello hello, after searching for ideas on Google, I came across an article from Alucare.fr that suggests YUZU or RYUJINX as emulators, which I find really interesting. But if anyone has other suggestions, I'm always open to them ????
