Hello, does anyone know how to extend the ringtone duration on a smartphone that rings twice and then cuts off? Thank you.

    Hello,

I found this if it can help you?

Change the number of rings before your voicemail is triggered

Note: One ring lasts about five seconds. The setting is done in seconds, in multiples of five.

Pick up your phone by pressing the key.
    Enter the following sequence:
    For one ring: *610*05# .
    For two rings: *610*10# .
    For three rings: *610*15# .
    For four rings: *610*20# .
    For five rings: *610*25# .
    For six rings: *610*30# .
    For seven rings: *610*35# .
    For eight rings: *610*40# .
You will hear: "your request has been recorded and accepted, you may hang up".

Note: Your voicemail will be triggered after the number of rings you just set.

Thanks, that's nice and it could be useful, but my problem is with the smartphone, not the landline. I go to settings where I can change the ringtones, but not the number of rings. Regards.

    Hello Agdette,

Oops, sorry I was too quick; the link actually concerned a landline.

While searching, I found this; should we give it a try?

        Damn.
What brand is your phone? There is a FAQ for each mobile brand, you might
be able to guide your research from there.

It's a Samsung, but it seems that it comes from the operator, so Free, not from the phone.
        Glad to help, thank you.
