Used PCS coupon

Hello,
This morning, January 17, I went to the tobacco shop to buy a PCS recharge of €20 and €250.
When I got home, I entered the codes from both coupons on my phone with the code: RECH XXXXXXXXXX 0000. The €20 recharge was successfully processed, and I received the €20 in my account. However, the €250 coupon has not been processed, and I received a message saying that the coupon has already been used. I don't see how this is possible. If you have any information, please let me know what to do as I have contacted PCS and I haven't received any news so far.

    You got scammed and you will never see your money again.

    "I sent it to someone who told me that the coupon had already been validated." You don’t send it to a complete stranger. This type of coupon is for close family and possibly real friends.

    I had the same case: the 20 euro recharge was processed but not the 100 euro coupon.

    The "Coupon already used" incident can have several causes:
    1° first, the tobacconist who issues the coupon and notes the secret code to cash it in
    2° the beneficiary who lies about its use in order to claim a second one from the issuer
    3° perhaps the bank? not being sure because some employees of this bank seem not to behave as one would expect from a bank. What makes me say this is that a 20 euro coupon was cashed while the 100 euro one was not processed because it was "already used." On another note, my account was opened under the wrong name from the start. The procedures for extending the card or modifying the number are more complicated than expected and for no valid reason.

      I was conned out of 100 € and I didn’t know what happened. I wanted to check it, but I couldn't. I don’t know when we can check to see at what time it was used, yes or no, and nobody saw the ticket from the tobacco shop at my house; no one.

      Yes, and the problem is that nobody had access to this code; I really don't see how this is possible.
      For me, the only answer is a computer problem that incorrectly encoded the card.

    I'm in the same situation. How did you get your money? I bought a PCS coupon for €250 on Saturday and I'm being told that this coupon has already been used. Nobody has seen this coupon except me, I don't understand anything anymore, and since I've been using PCS, I've never seen this before. Have I been hacked? Did you find a solution to your problem?         And this "friend"... is it a friend you really know in "real life" or a "friend online"?... because in the latter case, the argument "the coupon doesn't work" is actually often used by scammers to ask you for another one after having cashed in the first....

      I had exactly the same thing happen to me, but it was a €100 ticket that I bought from a tobacco shop, and no one really saw the ticket, I’m sure about that. How did you manage to recover your €250? I have no recourse; the tobacco shop just told me that since it was paid in cash, there’s nothing they can do. Thank you.

      Chantal, can you help me? I bought this morning, 25/11/2022, and to pay, I sent it to a person who told me that the coupon had already been validated. No one else but me has seen the coupon, and I sent it to the concerned person who said that the coupon had already been used. I have a big doubt; it is a 250€ coupon, and I've never had this happen before. How can I get my money back?

    Hello, I had the same issue with 2 vouchers of 150 euros; unfortunately, Mastercard isn't responding to you either and confirms that it's your fault; no refund possible. Personally, the situation is worse because the date of issue with PCS and my tobacconist do not match, and no one wants to listen; I've filed a complaint with the police and I'm waiting. In the meantime, I have 300 euros stuck.

        Of course, the police... does not reimburse!.... that is not its function....

        As for finding the scammers, don't count on it too much; most scams are set up outside French/European jurisdiction...
        In short, the complaint is unlikely to lead anywhere.... the only imperative being, if during the unfolding of the scam an official document was sent, to file a report in order to alert about a possible identity theft...

    I have been tricked several times with PCS vouchers, a total of 600€. I filed a complaint with the gendarmerie, but to this day nothing has happened; it's been over a year. I called PCS about the scam and, after providing the voucher number, they saw that it had been used and identified the name of the person, but they couldn't tell me who it was. However, they blocked the person. I don't understand why they won't give me the name of the person because if we file a complaint, we don't know against whom to file it. I sent the complaint to PCS, but again, no response. PCS needs to change their system; scams like this should be better protected against, and no one should be able to scam and know the voucher numbers. It's unfortunate on their part.
