Hello,
After extensive searching, I can't find answers to my problem...
I converted a PowerPoint to PDF (a CV) but I notice that in the latter I can highlight, underline, strikethrough words...
Is it possible to export my PowerPoint while blocking these features... In short I don't want my PDF to be editable.
Same for exporting a Word file.
Thanks in advance for your answers.

One solution may be a bit rough around the edges.

Open the file with OpenOffice (I usually use LibreOffice; but there seem to be bugs). Start OpenOffice, then go to File > Open. You should normally be in editing mode. Click on File and choose Export as PDF. Click on the Security tab and then Define passwords. Set an authorisation password. In the next screen, click Non autorisés (Not Authorized) and then export. You can verify with Foxit Reader, for example, that it is impossible to add comments to the PDF you just created.

For Word documents, do the same with LibreOffice or OpenOffice. When the file is open, go to File and choose Export to, then Export as PDF ... The rest is identical to what precedes.

    Hello,

You can protect your PDF directly from certain pdf readers, without having to go through conversions and reconversions.

For example, with PDF XChange Viewer (free): Open your PDF, then File => Document Properties => Security
Choose your protection type and set a password.

There are others that do it as well.
