Hello,
For some time now, emails from my Gmail account are being sent in duplicate by Outlook.
They are received twice by my correspondents.
It was working fine and then one day, the emails were sent in 10 to 12 copies and received just as many times.
I increased the server delay to the maximum of 10 minutes, but they are still being sent in duplicate.
I deleted the Gmail account and reinstalled it, but there was no change.
My other accounts on Outlook do not have this issue.
If I go directly to Gmail, there is no problem either.
It also works fine on my iPhone.
Thank you for your help.

Hello
What version of Outlook do you have installed on your PC?
There should be an option in your settings to keep a copy of messages sent by Outlook, and since Gmail also keeps a copy on the server, you have the same email twice.
To disable the option to leave a copy of the message on the server, proceed as follows:
Open Outlook.
Click on the File tab > Account Settings > Account Settings.
Highlight your current POP3 account and click on Change. Note: The window that opens will indicate the type of email account you have.
Click on More Settings, then click on Advanced.
You should see a checkbox labeled: Leave a copy of messages on the server.
Unchecking this box will keep only the message sent via Outlook.

Thank you for your reply.
Well, it turns out the issue was a bit different from what I described.
Initially, the emails were indeed being sent multiple times, but eventually, after increasing the server delay to 10 minutes, I only saw them twice.
In fact, at that moment, the emails were not actually being sent twice, but I was seeing them in double in the sent messages.
In Outlook, under advanced options, I checked the box "Do not save a copy of sent items" and that seems to fix the problem.
Well, the next day it started again and the box in question was unchecked??
Moreover, other inboxes in Outlook have this box unchecked and I don’t experience any issues.
To answer the questions, I don’t have the problem when using webmail and the email accounts are created from Outlook \file\add an account.
In the case of Gmail, everything is automatic.
Best regards. -
Hello
Your Outlook email client has a configuration problem. Go to Webmail (mail.google.com) to run a test
Have you added your Gmail account in Outlook from Outlook.com
