My computer won't type uppercase letters anymore

Hello,

I bought a new laptop less than a week ago, I'm happy with it but I must have made a mistake because I can no longer type uppercase letters (and numbers at the same time). I've been looking for a solution for two days but I can't find anything.
When I press the shift key (the arrow pointing up on the left of my keyboard), it lights up but does absolutely nothing.
I don't know what to do, can you help me?
I'm using Windows 10, it's a Lenovo IdeaPad 340.

Configuration: Windows / Edge 18.18362

    Hello.

Nonetheless, try this trick which might work ==>

Press the LEFT and RIGHT shift keys on the keyboard simultaneously.

This is just a suggestion . . . See you later
