Hello,
I have exactly the same puzzle..
3 receptionists + 2 night watchmen
the reception must be open 7 days a week from 6:30 AM to 10:00 PM.
3 people rotate to cover the reception.
Several schedules have been imagined but so far nothing conclusive.
1 example of a rotating schedule over 3 months so that each employee covers the 3 shifts: A in the morning (ends at 2:15 PM), B in the evening Monday to Friday, then C covers the entire weekend.
2nd example: Monday to Friday A works from 6:30 AM to 12 PM, B from 12 PM to 5 PM, C from 5 PM to 10 PM
and on the weekend: A on Saturday and B on Sunday (rotating schedule over 3 weeks so that everyone has a full weekend once a month and at least one day off per week)
Today, they want a schedule without full days (which I understand), does anyone have an idea?

The same as which other day? The same as who?
If you have the same puzzle, you must use the same solution!
It's the human being, in this case your team, who must design the schedule; you're lucky, they all seem motivated! The software will serve two purposes: to calculate subtotals of hours and to print the completed schedule.

For the umpteenth time in CCM, I repeat that there are no software programs that create schedules ...
