Online purchase of a video game for Christmas 2019 that turns into an automatic withdrawal of 19.99/month. Absolutely no confirmation or subscription email. No response by email. A checkbox was supposed to be ticked in a possibly well-hidden location.

Hello, I ordered on Nex Play and I'm tracking my package. I see that nothing has changed for two days, while my package is supposed to be delivered on Friday the 12th. Is this normal?

I requested a refund from the seller

No response

Be very careful! I strongly advise against ordering from this site.

Hello,

On each product page of NexPlay, there are 2 possible choices:

- Either purchase with the NexPlay Pass, which is free for 14 days and then becomes paid (CANCELABLE at any time, even during the free period and even after making a free exchange).

- Or purchase without the NexPlay Pass. Nothing else!!

Everything is clearly indicated on the site. As evidence, you just have to check any product page on the site.

I ordered from their site last weekend and received the game in 2 or 3 days, the product is as described, sealed and new; just be careful not to rush and accidentally subscribe to their memberships.

The most expensive game of my life!
Weird that they are not required to send an invoice for the debit like operators and other charges, they just say "extension of your benefits"????
I'm a good sport, but it's tough for you if you have a storefront, you're going to be wanted!!

  Hello, this week I noticed the same problem on my bank account, a withdrawal of €59.97. I contacted them and they told me it’s for a game.
  The game I bought, I replied, and I didn’t buy anything at all. The invoice they scanned is for a game Battlefield 5 that I purchased in 2019 for €34, and now they're invoicing me €59.97. I’m doing what’s necessary, I’m sending a photocopy of the invoice that I still have in my possession, and then they send me another email saying it might be for the member card. So be careful when you buy a game on the site, it might be without your knowledge they’re taking €59.97 every three months. I check my bank accounts once a year, and every three months they withdraw this amount. I intend to file a complaint for identity theft, abusive withdrawal, and breach of trust. My experience with nexPlay: purchase of a few games since November 2019 (received).
But I did not see/understand the famous "checkbox" "nexPlay Pass" during the first purchase (and yet I assure you that I am vigilant).
Especially since the website's ergonomics are.....
- No information in their emails about a subscription for €19.99 (otherwise I would have noticed - I thought it was advertising and so most of them went in the trash).
- Result: €160 lost because I realized it 8 months later (8 withdrawals of €19.99).
Their response: cancellation (that’s the minimum) + "you checked" (translation: "you’re out of luck") they know very well that I did not use this service (which I don’t care to know what it does) and yet everything seems designed for it to go "unnoticed".

Only purchase if you are really sure about it or better, don’t buy at all!

I confirm. I bought a game for last Christmas for 25 euros. They charged me 6 monthly payments of 19.99 before I realized it. When contacted, they hide behind the terms and conditions to say they are in the clear. So be careful if you really want to buy from their site, rather redirect yourself to sites that don't need scams to stay in the game: Fnac, Amazon, Micromania.

In violation of articles L111-1 and L122-3 of the Consumer Code by Nexplay, you can request a refund of all amounts debited.
L111-1: they are required to clearly indicate the nature of the service, the price, and the recurrence (monthly subscription). None of this is visible, is not confirmed in writing after a purchase, is not invoiced, nor explained on the site.
L122-3: in the absence of the information mentioned above, the service has therefore been charged to you without your consent, and is therefore fully refundable.
If their customer service does not grant it upon simple request by email, you must first send them a registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt, stating "formal notice to refund within 30 days" and briefly explaining the legal basis, your contact details, purchase date, and the details of the amounts claimed.

  This site is a total scam, and I fully intend to file a complaint and call the DGCCRF.
  They refunded me 20 euros but refuse to refund the rest.
  It's worth noting that when I made my purchase, the site was not at all like it is today, or I wouldn't have subscribed that way.
  Today, it seems a bit clearer. I think this guy is taking advantage of all of France given the number of people who feel cheated.
  Everyone needs to file a complaint or report them so that we can form a collective.
  I am fortunate to have taken out legal protection; I will report them, send a registered letter, and file a complaint.
  Their arguments are false, and their only aim is to make you believe that what they are doing is legal, whereas it is not.
  With every person who gives up, they get richer.

    My loss is €109.96...

Attention scam - I bought a game for my 9-year-old son, and without realizing it, Gdn Nexplay automatically signed me up for a subscription of €29.99 because I didn't uncheck a box that I didn't see.
It's been 7 months that Gdn Nexplay has been withdrawing €29.99 for having purchased a game for €40.
This is UNACCEPTABLE; that box should have been checked by the buyer with full knowledge of what it entails and not unchecked, as this makes all the difference.

Hello everyone. To avoid any unpleasantness (I've been caught out too), when you have selected your purchase, two blue buttons will appear: a large one and a small one. The large button allows you to buy your game with the nexplay pass ($29.99 per month), which lets you swap games, and the small button allows you to buy your game without the pass, so no surprises.
So read carefully.
