Hello! Since last night, I no longer have my contacts on the right side of my screen on my Facebook page! This allowed me to see who was online or not! Additionally, on the left below the news feed, I no longer have Messenger.....

    Hello,

    Same for me and other contacts, I think it might be a bug or maintenance on Facebook's part.
    I tried on other browsers and another PC, same issue.

      Unfortunately not, I reported the problem to Facebook, I'm waiting for a response. In the Facebook community help center, quite a few people have the same issue.

      In the top right corner (in the blue banner) there is a question mark, click on it, then at the bottom of the list, click on "Report a problem" and then choose "Something isn't working."

    I finally found the solution to make the instant chat banner reappear, you just need to press the Q key on your keyboard. Hoping that it works for you.

      No problem, glad I could help!

      I'm looking into access to Messenger under the news feed. In the meantime, you can access it via the speech bubble icon at the top right of the blue banner, then in "See All in Messenger" at the bottom left.

      Thank you again, Adrien! I can't find the icon you're talking about! But I found a solution: I went to history and there was Messenger... so I have 2 Facebook icons now: one for the Facebook page and the other for Messenger!
