Hello,
Questions: What is the problem? getting sound on the soundbar?
Besides the Freebox player which provides the image to the television?
What other systems (aerial antenna, satellite decoder, game console, DVD player)?

The television has an optical audio output and a headphone jack
The soundbar has Audio Inputs: Digital Optical (x1) • Digital Coaxial (x1) • Stereo Analog (Jack "Line In" (x1))
The Freebox player also has an optical audio output.
So, initially, we can consider connecting either the Freebox or the television to the soundbar via optical cable.
Very difficult to catch a black cat in a dark room.
Especially when it's not there...

First of all, thank you for addressing my problem!
The TV is connected to the fb player via HDMI, I also have a PS3 connected to the fb server via an Ethernet cable, and this PS3 is also connected via HDMI to the TV.
With the soundbar, a RCA cable was provided for 'in line' connection, but when I connected it to the TV... nothing, no sound.
Then I tried an optical cable, and there I got sound but with a monstrous echo and almost no sound power.
I also tried the optical cable from fb player to soundbar, but nothing!
There you go! Do you have a solution?
Actually, I bought this soundbar because when I watch a program on TV, the sound is very low (even with the TV and Freebox volume at maximum) but it remains somewhat audible. However, when I watch a Netflix program, it’s hardly audible at all!!
I don’t know if you understand all this mess; I’m losing my Latin...
Thank you in advance if you reply to me.
Best regards,
Jean-Yves
