Hello,

I have quite an annoying problem,

every time I restart my computer, the volume of my microphone goes down to 58, while it is normally at 100... So I have to turn it back up every time I start up... Thank you for your help!

I found it, if someone happened to have the same problem as me, it was that I had disabled stereo mixing

No worries, I also want to add in this post that the Microsoft Teams software also changes this value when I mute/unmute myself. I haven't found a direct solution apart from staying unmuted and muting my mic directly without going through this software.

        Hello,
I had the same issue as you, my Blue Yeti microphone would drop to 50 every time I woke my computer from sleep.
I saw your solution, so I installed and enabled stereo mix, but now I have to unplug and replug my mic each time I restart for the computer to detect it, in addition to having to raise the level again.
Your solution hasn’t helped me, but has made my situation worse. Do you have another solution?
