Hello,
I was using the normal PDF on my Mac and now PDF Expert has been set as the default, but I don't want that.

Can you help me remove it and set the normal PDF back as default?

Thank you
Stéphanie

    Hello,

What do you mean by "normal PDF" ???

On a Mac, PDFs are simply read with Preview. Preview is built-in on all Macs. It’s an application supplied with every Mac OS.

PDF Expert is a paid application:

Unless you have specific needs, this paid application is unnecessary in most cases.
Is this the application you are talking about?
    Did you buy it?

    If so,
    install AppCleaner:

put the PDF Expert application in this window and confirm the deletion

    Hello,
No, I haven't bought it, but I already had the issue and Apple removed it for me, but it has installed again.

I just want to have access to my sheets in PDF in normal mode (sorry, I don't know the exact name).

Thank you for your response, I will try to remove it, hoping that I can make PDFs afterwards.

    Best regards

To read PDFs, just use Preview. Right-click on a PDF file, / Get Info /

    In the info window

    Open with = Preview

    Then click on "Change All"

    Confirm

From then on, all PDFs will open with Preview.

    https://support.apple.com/fr-fr/guide/preview/welcome/mac

Then, to "make PDFs"... almost all applications allow exporting to PDF format, otherwise, request to print, then at the bottom left of the print dialog window, click on PDF... / "Save as PDF"...

    Best regards.
