Email content display issue

Solved

Hello,
Normally, when I open Mail on MAC OS MOJAVE, I directly see the mailbox column, the messages column for the selected mailbox, and the content column for the selected message.
I made a mistake 2 days ago and I can no longer see the content column for the selected message (I have to double-click on each message to open it).
I have not been able to fix this problem and I couldn't find the solution in the Mail manual for iMac.
Can you help me?
Thank you in advance,
Best regards
Paule

    Hello,

I presume you are talking about the message viewing pane. This pane can be located at the bottom or to the left of the messages, depending on how you have chosen to set up the display in Mail Preferences. In Mail / Preferences / Viewing, if you opt for the classic mode, you will have this pane at the bottom and can open it by dragging the small dot at the bottom of the window upwards quite far.
In the other mode, the pane is on the right and to open it, you need to move the cursor to the edge of the window until it changes to a left-pointing arrow, then you "pull" the pane quite far to the left to open it...

    Best regards.

Thank you very much for your quick and devilishly effective response.
I hadn't tried to "pull" the half-arrow shaped cursor to the left.
      Have a great day
