Fraction bar and exponent issue TI-83 Premium CE

Hello,
I have a TI-83 that has a "fraction bar" key (different from the division key). It’s two small squares stacked on top of each other separated by a bar. This key is supposed to display a horizontal bar for entering a fraction. It has always worked until this year, but now when I press this key, the calculator simply shows a
division symbol (vertical line). Does anyone know if there’s a setting that could fix this and restore the horizontal bar? Thank you very much in advance!
I also have the same issue with exponents (the key that looks like a circumflex accent) used to literally place the number in exponent (meaning a smaller number above the larger one), but now it just shows a circumflex accent with the exponent following it. It doesn’t change much, but it forces me to add parentheses, and in long calculations, it complicates my life.
