Hello,
I am going on a cruise, and I would like to know what 500 MB corresponds to. I purchased an internet package; how long can I use it? If I use Messenger or WhatsApp, does it consume a lot? Thank you in advance.
Configuration: Android / Chrome 76.0.3809.132

Hello,
Uppercase letters can be important! I assume in your case it refers to 500 MB, or 500 Mega Bytes. So you have 0.5 GB. That's not much.
If your cruise lasts 10 days, that gives you 50 MB per day. Enough to send a few photos and chat on WhatsApp or Skype.
You need to check with the cruise line what your options are.
In any case, keep an eye on your consumption. Don't expect miracles in terms of speed either. This is satellite communication and there are a lot of people on the ship.
You will also be able to enjoy the ports of call. Check with your operator what the roaming costs are.

Hello,
500mb = 500 millibars, a measure of pressure.
Which has nothing to do with any internet package.

It's very hard to catch a black cat in a dark room.
Especially when it's not there...
