Hello everyone,
I have a Windows Phone Lumia 650 running Windows 10. Sometimes I get a message saying that my web browser is too old.
I would like to change my browser, but I can’t install any of the most popular browsers like Chrome, Firefox, or Opera.
Every time I try to install them, it redirects me to the Store but nothing is available.
How can I change my browser under these conditions?
For responses like "change your phone," thanks, but that’s not on the agenda.
Thank you for your help.

this permanent race for constant change, for planned obsolescence is exhausting
Why should I change a smartphone whose original battery isn’t even dead? That’s also exhausting, batteries that last no more than 1000 cycles (about 3 years)
If only I had an alternative to iOS or Android… neither of these two systems suits me but I thought someone could really help me keep my WP

Hello,
I am not familiar with Windows Phone, but it seems that common browsers have not been ported to this system (except for Edge, of course ... which you should find). Here is a list of recommended browsers:

The ones that come up most often online are: UcBrowser, Opera Mini, and Surfy Browser.
Best regards.

By following the link, I am offered 7 browsers, of which I can already forget the first 4 as they are no longer available:
1. UC Browser (Not Available)
2. Maxthon Browser (Not Available)
3. Opera Mini Beta (Not Available)
4. Nokia Xpress (Not Available)
5. SurfCube 3D Browser => Installed and being tested
6. Surfy => not yet verified
7. Aerize Explorer => not yet verified
hoping that this will allow me to continue using my Lumia for a long time :)

Hello,
Unfortunately, Windows Phone is no longer supported by Microsoft, which means no more updates or applications developed for it.
That’s why planning to change your phone remains the best solution, because in the long run, you will have fewer and fewer things that will work on your device...

Windows Phone was abandoned in its infancy; for sustainability, you need a system that is already tested (and approved...). I'm not trying to sell you on it, but Android is extremely customizable, and you can even give it a "Microsoft" interface https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.microsoft.launcher
out of curiosity, what bothers you about this system?
Best regards.
