Since the last update of Windows 10, two squares appear when I start my computer (grrrr) and I have to close them every day, which annoys me to no end.
The first one says: "Classic Shell needs to configure for the new system" (what is Classic Shell for, and what is it related to on my computer? Then, right after closing it, another window pops up: "the administrator refuses to run this application Classic Start Menu.exe unknown publisher drive origin hard disk program location C\program files\classic shell\classic Start Menu.exe -upgrade
I have seen the program in question, but can I get rid of it to stop seeing these two nuisances at startup without altering something important?
Thank you for your advice.
Annie

Hello ....
Classic Shell is a small utility that allows you to have the old Windows 7-8-XP start menu which, in principle, also works on Windows 10 (but I'm not sure because I've never tried it) ... but if you don't want to use this menu, you can uninstall it without any problem with Revo Uninstaller and you'll have the classic Windows 10 startup with its tiles
Edit ► You most likely had this application before upgrading Windows because it didn't install itself in my opinion ..
